How time flies...

It's been roughly 2 months since the release of HMDYD, so I think this is as good a time as any to post a little update on what's been going on.

First of all, a giant thank you to everyone who has commented and reviewed the game, your excitement for my project has been amazing to witness! I never expected HMDYD to be a small hit like this, but I guess y'all like your dilfs, huh?

So what's next? Well... the game is currently on a little pause. As some of you are aware, Nikko is hosting the Love + Attraction Jam beginning next month. Me and a small group of talented peeps are hard at work on a submission for it.

I've posted a little teaser onto my bluesky, so take a looksie! I don't want to spoil much, but let's say it will be very tropical, very educational, and optionally very... kinky? ;) Consider following me on there, I don't post a lot, so there's no worry of getting spammed.

Back to HMDYD though, I'll get to the point. I rushed a lot of things due to the deadline, and that has left the current version a little... messy. Unfinished art assets, wonky backgrounds, uneven audio volume, and...

The writing, yeesh... The tonal issues are the biggest problem, but the current script will need a general rewrite before I feel satisfied continuing the story.

As you can see, I'm not planning on giving up on this game, but I will ask for your patience while I get through these hurdles. 

Before I sign off, I want to ask something. One of the more common sentiments I've heard from players is this. "It wasn't what I was expecting from the title."

This has made me think, would it be beneficial to rename the game? If so, what should the new name be? "Help You Date My Dad!" perhaps? Something more serious? I'm still very unsure... I'd appreciate your thoughts and input on this.
